Resist or Not to Resist Temptation?
Now...there is only 24 shopping days left till Christmas and my bank account is as usual on the wrong side of £0 but.......sitting in my emails this week was a little message from a Mr Ben Allen letting me know hes kindly selling his gorgeous prints with 15% off! It seems rude not to take him up on his kind offer...especially as I still think his print Wonderland would look lovely in my bedroom..or then again Pink Blue Heaven (above) could look nice too!!! What should I do...decisions, decisions eh!

Pretty little printed presents in the post!
I have mentioned Ben Allen on here before but was lucky enough to find out about him selling his prints through a gallery called Red Propeller. Their 'Crunchburger' print series is an amazing way to get great prints at great prices. Check out Ben's 'Red Heaven' piece.

Another print available this week only is 'Dying to Huff' by up and coming artist TRXTR. Think he ll be one to watch and is currently producing a few 'Crunchburgers' so if you like his stuff its a great way to grab a gorgeous new piece for your collection!

Vania Zouravliov
Just been looking over my friend Clare's blog and she has just posted a piece about Vania Zouravliov's illustrations. They are strangely mesmerising! They feel so dark but there is also something very beautiful about them. Have a look at them at www.bigactive.com
Also check out Clare's blog at inspirecreatives.blogspot.com she has always got great stuff on there!
Thanks Clare! xx

Linn Olofsdotter

Isn't it funny how us creative minds think alike...even if we are so different. Whilst sitting back in our cosy studio trying to keep those January blues away I was reminded by Indie about an artist I saw last year and her beautiful illustrations, he had come across her work and thought just as i did how great it was. Her illustrations have been used across campains for Samsung and Starbucks to name a few. Have a little look at more of her pieces at linn.olofsdotter.com!

Biba Diva
A little bit of vintage chic. This is an original Biba poster which never quite made it into the shops...printed in 1974 just before the iconic Biba store went bust this lovely lady has been stuck in storage until now. I think she deseves to show off a little tho so here she is eh!

Friday evening inspiration!
Its Friday night, the studio is empty, I have a million and one places to be but my mind is crazily racing about ideas for a new magazine ad Im working on. I desperately want to do something a little different and quirky but I doubt the client will! I found these illustrations by Doug Alves...aren't they beautiful! His work has reminded there is hope and maybe, just maybe I can persuade my client to step a little out of her comfort zone..watch this space!
Check out Doug's website http://www.nacionale.cc/ which has some really interesting pieces on there and a really nice site too.
